Paint/Body Shop Recommendation
My pride and joy apparently got scraped in the parking lot last night. Just some surface damage to the rear bumper plastic. Of course, the miscreant is nowhere to be found, and I am in need of a body shop in northern MA, southern NH or even southern ME who will do a good job and just take my arm and leave me my leg.
Any recommendations? Thanks |

Thanks to you and one who PM'd me for your reply and recommendation. I ultimately went with another shop closer to home and recommended by my local independent BMW fixit guy but I'll definitely keep your recommendation in mind for future mishaps. |

JB Restoration and Collision in Salisbury, on the recommendation of Schneller, an independent BMW shop in Newbury.
I got quotes from four body shops, three of whom would to it "right" way, which is to take the bumper off to repaint, for $700 to $1000. JB said bumper removal not necessary, $400. Looks fine to me; time will tell. Also part of my reasoning is that the condo I live in has small businesses on the street level with a lot of customers going in and out of the lot, so any fix ls good only until the next time it happens. Most likely JB Restoration and Collision has not seen the last of me. |

Hello, any recommendations around Boston? Got rear ended a few weeks ago. Friend said to go to Herb Chambers Ashland but their next availability is a few weeks away. Thanks!
Found these as well, any preferences between them? Imperial Auto Body Mike's Auto Body Sansossio Auto Couture Last edited by granCLop; 02-21-2017 at 08:55 AM.. |
