Different days, different conditions, probably different dirver. Not much of an apples to apples comparison. The driver can make a huge difference. But like I have always said the Evo is a damn fine car. I like the "mini-GT-R" expression and think it is true. The Evo drivetrain is very very advanced and high tech.

The Evo 10 is definitely in the league of the GTR in regards to D/T technology. With the ability to accelarate the outside wheels in a turn, its going to shock people the same way the GTR has, but in a different class of vehicles

Sorry if this sounds too insulting but please re-read you comments, the track is only 2 and a half minutes long, if the M3 could have been 20 seconds quicker on this track what would that equate to on a track like the ring which is roughly 8 minute and 15 seconds long. My guess is 70 seconds.

So using your belief of the comparison between M3 and 335i, as the 335i laps it in 8:25 that would mean the M3 lapped the ring in 7:20s.

Hey guys, the M3 is already quicker than the GTR V-spec, cancel your orders for the Nissan, it's over priced and too slow anyway.

Once again sorry.

Not surprising at all... I'd be VERY surprised if the M3 were faster on that track.

It's good that the M3 came that close though.

The Evo is much more of a track car out-of-the-box. The M3 is too heavy.

I like both.

In another thread there was a link to an article where the EVO X went up against the new 135i. The 135i had a slower lap time than the EVO but the 135u won the test and was faster than the ISF around the track.

It'a a joke, based on sayemthree's believe that was 20 seconds quicker on this track than the 135i. Re-read my entire post and you will understand that it's only a joke and not true.

Sorry for your confusion.

Is there any place (on the web) where we can see what times all cars posted, Iīd be interested to see others as well.
