Xenons!!!!!!

So after much deliberating, I bit the bullet and bought a full set of Xenons for £1000.

They come with all modules, ballasts, bulbs and lugs etc. After doing so much to my car that I love so much I just wanted a set of OEM Xenons!

Now to get them on the car ASAP!

Do xenons necessitate having headlight washers too?

I remember being very glad not to have washers on my f30 (with LEDs), used to annoy me on my E88 when I'd recently washed it

It's funny how much difference headlights make, mine are so bad they're actually making me dislike the car slightly. Every time another 3 series with xenons drives past me I am genuinely envious...

Yes, it's a legal requirement and MOT failure if washers aren't fitted I believe.

There is no particular reason why BMW halogens need to be as bad as they are. I occasionally drive a car with halogens and I have yet to find one with as feeble lights as BMW halogen.

While it's OK to make the standard stereo a bit crap, or to charge for something like heated seats which are standard on cars at half the price, making the standard lights deliberately poor is unacceptable in my view.

Totally agree, my mum has a 66 plate golf and there is so much as standard!

A little man. Nothing too hard for some BMW Specialists.

Can't wait to get them in the car, next week some time.

After driving a 335D with halogen lights, i was convinced BMW set a death trap, go to be the worst headlights I've used in 30+ years of driving, utter shit.
