http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com/ Filter the dropdown near the top of the page to “E90..” You will see all of the E90 OEM wheels as well as M wheels. Find your original wheel and note the offset and weight. Then compare any other OEM wheel to yours and note the weight and offset. In general you do not want to add any weight to your car without some benefit. If you have 17” wheels and want 18”, they will be heavier, but have the slight advantage of allowing bigger brakes or just looking cosmetically a little better. Most E90s have a 30mm offset, so you don’t want to vary too much from that. Smaller offset put wheel closer to the outer fender, more offset moves toward the center. Either way, enough change might result in hitting or rubbing something which is not desirable. You can also check TireRack for wheels and tires that fit, by putting your car in their wheel selector and look at the range of aftermarket wheels they recommend and the range of offset, diameters, and weights that you see. If you go aftermarket, you might get a larger wheel that weighs less than your stock smaller wheel.

3 and 5 series generally have different offsets and don't interchange well.
You need to give specifics as to et, diameter, width of wheels, and size of tires. |
