Many people use Glen's settings as a base. I use this and bump the bass a little.

The best and only advice to follow tho is to set the EQ to what YOU think sounds best.

Music tastes are different, vehicle layouts are different and most significantly you are different.

If you read further into that thread on post #30 he realises he was setting it up using an iphone with changed EQ presets!!

So totally ignore his settings on the first page!

Well..that's some real helpful advice
He was asking for ideas to try...why not try someone's settings to see if that helps?

I find the mid range is more powerful than the bass and treble so I turn bass and treble up and mids down a bit.

I've not changed mine from factory settings, I don't know if they changed something but I'm sure HK sounds a lot better in the LCI

Bit harsh. I don't think Nobby Clark ever said not to try other people's settings but overall, he's probably right.

I messed with mine for about two months before settling on a sound that's half decent. I still think the ten year old Bose system in my Mazda sounds clearer.

i would swap the bass and treble and put i very slight sweep in the eq by dropping the mids slightly and lifting the low and highs slightly but be carefull the eq is a bit heavy handed

I followed a thread (as per reply above) and after extensive testing followed tge advice and use these settings below as a starting point. I haven't altered them much.

glenQNYC's final settings at;

Bass & Treble = Flat
Balance & Fader = Centered
L7 active
(Speed Volume = Center)

100Hz +4 (sometimes +5)
200Hz -5
500Hz +2
1kHz +1
2kHz Flat
5kHz -1
10kH Flat
