Bought a 430D today and so far very impressed....

Bought a mineral grey with red on a 64 plate with 17k miles. Cost me £22400 which seems reasonable.

No extras bar 19's and a reversing camera.

First impressions are that it is far better to drive than my current Mercedes C250 (new model) diesel and a lot quicker. The front seat also offers lumbar support which works !

It returned 44mpg on the obc down the road on a quick 60 mile spin and I will check it out on a brim to brim when I get a chance.

All very positive tonight and now I can sell my Golf GT which has been my diesel hack for the past 6 months but has started to torment me recently with how slow it is.

Look forward to learning a few things off you guys.

Btw the adjustable lumbar support is an extra.

The Mercedes is a two year lease that goes back next March. Got it cheap on a 20k a year deal....... Hate it !

430d sDrive is probably the best all rounder BMW make. Good choice.
