Wax it Wet
I've missed the opportunity of a carrying out a winter detail and haven't topped up my wax/sealant before the crap weather has inflicted itself upon us.
Looking for an easy fix that will give a reasonable shine but can be applied when the car isn't dry. When it's cold it's more or less impossible to get the car totally dry outside even after using a microfiber cloth. Added to which it's too cold to be out anyway. Found this, gets reasonable reviews. Anyone tried it or a similar alternative? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Turtle-Wax-.../dp/B006SXKGTI |

As mentioned Autoglym Aqua wax is decent but it really doesn't last long. Personally I'd go for CarPro Reload or CarPro Hydr02 as although more expensive they will last a lot longer.

I use Sonax BSD when I'm in a rush, spray on car/drying towel and then dry the car.

Don't think so, is was part of a wax pack trial box. Literally spray on in a foam lance then rinse off that was it.

Max Protect ceramic again throughout mine. Had to leave it a few days before it's cured. !st coating on the 340i.
Itching to get a wax coating on top before winter. Detailer busy at the moment with other things. Wax coating was done by hand wax only. Should suffice untill i get it done with machine. We all know how much the road salt knackers up the body work & wheels. it's good to get prepared. |

Recommend trying fireball premium easy-coat, simply spray it onto car as you've rinsed after washing whilst the car is still wet - a section at a time and power rinse off after 30 seconds - then dry the car once completed - will last a month or two and just top up thereafter - can use it on paint / glass / wheels etc - it's pretty good stuff and will do a decent job imo.

Loads of good responses and recommendations which have given me plenty of food for thought. After looking at online reviews and YouTube videos the two that stand out from ease of application and results are IMO HydrO2 and Nanolex Washcoat. The HydrO2 being the more costly of the two.

The easiest product to use in your case is a maintenance spray (Gyeon Wetcoat, Carpro Reload etc). Simply wash the car, spray the car with the maintenance spray, allow to sit for a few minutes and then pressure wash it off.
If you want a wax that can be applied to wet paintwork, I'd recommend Ioncoat Naviwax.
