Email In Car
Hi I am trying to set up an Outlook.com email address in the car.
The BMW user manual does state that Outlook is supported. In am setting up on the Connecteddrive account but it just does not want to know. Connecteddrive support were a waste of time. The settings I am using are: Outlook.com server information: Account type: IMAP. Incoming mail server: imap-mail.outlook.com. Outgoing mail server: smtp-mail.outlook.com. Incoming server port (IMAP): 993. Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL. Outgoing server port (SMTP): 587. Use the following type of encrypted connection: TLS. Can anyone help please? |

If anything like Gmail. i had to go to my Gmail account and let it know the connected drive details before it would work. Can't remember exactly what detail. something to do with post boxes?
