Yep, brilliant - the boys at their best. Similar to TG but better

The opening sequence was far better than aything in the whole of the BBC Flop Gear series.

Yep that was good. It can finally be taken for what it is... Entertainment with cars.

Kept changing my mind between the P1, porsche and la Ferrari

Absolutely loved it even if I did find the first segment a bit cheesy.

Drooled over the M2. I'm disappointed by the new 3 series and one of the reasons I can't seem to part with my e92

All the hybrid cars were spectacular! I think the McClaren just edges it for me because it's sexy and seemingly terrifying to drive which just sounds like more fun.

3 minutes into watching it, I said to my wife you know this is going to be good!

They did not disappoint, great to have them back together again with their own show.

Oh come on, it was goodish but it wasn't that great. In places they were trying to be funny a bit too hard.

I enjoyed it from start to finish personally. Far far better than the most recent series of Top Gear. Let's hope the rest of the series pans out the same, the extra budget available to the production team was evident and had a really positive impact on the show

It was good and I really enjoyed it.

However, the drooling is way over the top. It's no better than many of the Top Gear episodes that people slated for years. May I add I have always enjoyed Top Gear and enjoyed this too.

There was a big deal about how the show couldn't copy the format of Top Gear due to copyright issues. They must have been cutting the law extremely finely as most aspects were almost the same.

They were making too much reference to the old Top Gear. The new Top Gear got slated for not moving on and referencing old Top Gear, but The Grand Tour is praised for doing the same.

It's actually nice to now read threads that are now all positive. Surprising the vastly different reactions when the show was pretty much the same.

Good to have another car show to watch and enjoy.

Looking forward to the rest of the series. Brilliant idea hosting out of a tent because they have a huge world wide audience. Love the quips and comments about how some things on BBC TG never worked!

Top Gear did go a little stale in the last series or two although I always followed it and enjoyed it.

People always criticised it because they wanted it to be more of the old format, like 5th Gear. But the reality is this would you rather Jeremy telling you about the boot space of the new 2.2d Mondeo, or thrashing the shit out of a P1?

I agree it was good but not overly amazing. I did enjoy the "comedy skits" on the RAF. I think you need things like that to break the show up.

Im guessing by the budget and the adverts it will continue to follow the bloackbuster format of the first and thats fine. At least with it being on Amazon, there will be less whingers as now you have to pay to watch them... Unless you have Kodi

Guess I'm the only one that found it dull.

Obvious humor, crap reviews, great cars.

I enjoyed it but thought it was a bit over the top and cringey in some sections with the humour, in particular, the 'celebs' dying and the 'fight' with the USA audience.

And the new 'stig' was a bit cringey too with his staged insults about the car.

However, I think they're just getting this stuff out of the way in the first episode, especially with the TG references.

Will see how the 2nd episode goes.

2nd episode was absolutely awful. It's been a massive anti-climax so far. I was really looking forward to this series.

I'm 3/4's of the way through it, can't say i'm enjoying it much so far. A bit disappointed.
