Car now lowered & with spacers

Had the F31 lowered on new springs Eibach Pro kit. Drops the car around 15-20mm.

Also fitted 12mm spacers on the front & 15mm on the rear. Certainly makes the looks at a lot better.

Yep, just fitted Eibach spacers today (12mm front, 15mm rear) courtesy of Lorcan, car looks so much better IMHO. I wasn't convinced at first but once the suspension had settled properly the car looked so much better, a bit more aggressive, (hopefully) without being chavvy!!

Nice to see someone else running the Eibach Pro springs as opposed to ACS, I love mine, been on a while now. I just kept the spacers to 12mm all round instead of more at the rear. Nice work, looks good on your F31

Certainly gives a more aggressive stance especially when viewed head on.

It is quite surprising the difference it makes

Looks spot on, how has the handling been affected? Tightened things up a bit?

Looks good, same spacer setup I did on my 330D, no problems and suits the car. Noticed a bit more road rash appearing around the arches at the front (where the M Perf decal is joined) but very minor.

But, as Tengo said when you posted this on a different thread, 25mm is a lot of spacer.

It seems so cornering feels more planted with less roll.

Is that 25mm across both wheels or each side? If its the latter then that would be an issue with tracking etc as its a substantial increase from stock.

yes 25mm all round, so with just 12m no need to redo tracking ?

I'd say there are enough users here using 12 all round or 12/15 without issues to say it's safe to use 12/15mm spacers on these cars.

Think spacers are next for my car, the springs (albeit ACS ones) have made a world of difference on my handling, although bottomed out a couple of times on the horrendous Lincolnshire back roads...

Looks good, it has a nice even drop. How does the ride compare to standard? As the ACS springs are supposed to be pretty similar to stock.

No need to do wheel alignment with change of spacers or wheels, only with suspension components.
