Please let me know too... I'm up for a meet to see how it's done. I have the lead, software loaded on laptop, but... Lacking the initial confidence to actually connect it all up to the car in case I screw anything up

OK, noted.
Not sure when we are next up that way, but will drop something on here when I know, could well be in the run up to Christmas, but will confirm.
Have got to do a few bit on the inlaws newly acquired F07 (5GT), like mirrors on one fob press and boot closing from the fob/A pillar.

I'll refresh my knowledge by doing a couple of bits on my car (need to enable NBT) so I'm more up tp speed with it as been a while since I did mine.
