Anybody try out the new map for JB4 (Map 2)?

Planning on giving it a go tonight!

I believe map 2 is only recommended if you are running meth. I have not tried it... just map 1 so far.

No, Map 2 is slightly higher boost and recommended for 93 Octane+ with bolt-ons.

I believe OP is referring to an updated version of Map 2...I'm curious where it is.

A new version (more aggressive map) came out a day or two ago, I'm curious to see some logs from it.

It's at the bottom of the B58 sticky. Here is a link: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/attach...8&d=1478839181

Surprised Terry didn't make a post about it. Just uploaded it to my car but its late and raining so I will have some feedback tomorrow.

Thats correct. You would have to download the latest firmware using the JB4 bluetooth app.

Drove the car for 25 miles and it does not feel as fast as map 1. It's possible that I lack the right fuel or needs more time to adjust.

I run ER DP and 91 Octane +3 gallons of e85.

do log it, that should put you around ~93-94oc, if you're not running out of fuelling.

It the new firmware that was released for the JB4..

Map Guide as of v4 firmware below:

Map 0: Disable JB4 all together
Map 1: Suggested performance map
Map 2: A little more aggressive than map1 for bolt on mods and higher octane fuels or octane booster
Map 4: Stock tuning with CANbus active for logging and diagnostics
Map 7: Water/Methanol Injection map

Map 2 feels stronger for me? 93 Oct... I only have a BMS intake right now but will be installing my VM downpipe later this week and report back. Some logs are in order too.

E85 does not work well on the platform and will result in less boost since the DME has an internal IPW fuel cap. MMT based octane booster is a better idea like NOS Race or Torco.

Easiest way to update / change maps is with the Bluetooth app.

For those of us stuck with 91 octane is using Torco the best method to get 93+ octane?
Or NOS with MMT?
