Tire Rack TPMS question
Hey guys, I need 4 TPMS for my 07 e92.
Tire rack says these will work but I was just wondering has anybody used these before? http://www.tirerack.com/tpms/detail....7&autoModClar= $49 bucks each doesn't seem too bad.

The xtra set I bought for my winter wheel set was from TireRack - good price & they work just fine...
The 433 MHz of the one's you listed is correct for your 2007 car

The sensors Tire Rack sells are OEM. Same sensors you would purchase from the dealer. We by them direct from the manufacturer. Feel free to email me directly if I can help further.

As Keith says, they sell Beru/Huf, which are the OEM ones. The set that I bought from tirerack works perfectly.
However, two things: 1) IIRC, BMW changed TPMS systems from 2007 to 2010, so you have to buy the correct one for your model year. 2) TPMS have batteries in them: approximate lifetime appears to be 7 years, so eventually you have to buy new sensors, as the batteries are not replaceable. |
