The taillights will look more like the new 7er than the X5.

The 'aero bits' are looking like a break cooling system. Cold air is transported to the breaks to keep them cooler...but it is quite far away from the breaks, so I may be wrong...

It does not look like the flaps of the M2 or other various sportier BMW's...

It seems that it will be the first X3 with a high quality level!
There are some really competitive rivals in this moment! Beside the traditional german ones, Alfa Stelvio was just released with the top 510 PS engine!!!

To me it looks like these new aero parts are used to direct air away from front tires in order to get less road noise. Nice that they have integrated those more into design than just have black flaps in front of tires.

Headlights and tails on preproduction mules like this are usually leftovers from a 1990s Buick or something. I wouldn't expect much from these photos in that regard. Way too early.

This seems like production lights (not as the round 1990s preproduction versions) to mee, but hope you´re right about that.

Yes, current x3/x4 interior is kind of cheap-looking.

Wonderful again, as always with breaking pics.
I'm on my second F25. Maybe G01, hopefully the interior transforms to leading edge.

I'm afraid the base X3, just like the current generation, is likely to be shipping with halogens and LEDs as an option.
