Best way to tap into manifold or boost pipe (Pre TB)???

Obviously you could drill into the intake manifold, but obviously that would require removal due to the drill shaving possibly falling into the manifold...

Seems there are no pressurized lines, any hoses running away from boosted parts have one way valves to store vacuum....a

I have a boost activated exhaust valve and need a manual boost source

Drilling into the intake won't get you vacuum since the engine isn't atmospheric. There is a vacuum pump on the engine somewhere. You could tap into the power brake booster line from that pump.

Well I said I wanted to tap into the manifold post throttle bosy not the intake...And the Brake booster is run on vaccum w a canister so i believe its a one way valve that stores the engines vaccum when ur not in boost...

If the M3s brake boosted was assisted by boost and not vacuum assisted it be the first car ive heard of in hisory...

Dinan has a manual adapter that goes in between your MAP sensor and manifold and has a 1/4 manual boost line to hook a hose too...I need something like that

I think you misread and though i said vaccum....To clarify I need boost...

I did. If you have a charge pipe, they usually have options for bungs on them for tapping boost.

I can't see anything on realoem

yea my meth bung which has no vacancy ATM lol.

I found a spot to grab boost pre tb. which should be fine... jw/ if anyone else has needed this and if theres an adapter or easy fix
