Anyone have 18" CSL Replica on a Z4 Coupe?

I am trying to decide if 18"s would be too small. I live in Chicago and am afraid of bending wheels right away...the roads are really bad this year b/c of all the snow.

Thanks!

As a matter of fact I do. I think 18" fills it out nicely. Here in Louisiana all our roads are built on mud. The only roads without pot holes are the ones built 5 minutes ago. So far I've had no problems with these rims and tires with all the small urban canyons filling our streets.

Very Nice! Thank you. Here in Chicago, they repair the perfectly fine roads and leave the roads riddled with potholes to bend wheels and rattle fillings loose.

I've got em. I think they suit the small dimensions of the car better than 19s. Plus, there are a lot more r-compounds available in 18" than 19".

See sig. I can post more/bigger pics if desired.

Thanks for the pictures. I'm actually looking for a set of 18" CSL, so I wanted to see them from all angles.
What are the exact measurements?
Front: 8J 225.40.18
Rear: 9J 255.35.18
ET values?
Did you do any suspension upgrade?

No problem. Sorry, don't have many still shots at the moment.

And yes, that was after I passed that GT3 and started pulling away. R-comps REALLY wake up the M coupe's abilities.

I'd be happy to help you get the correct matching fronts from EAS as well. They helped me a lot.

Curiosity, still learning about rims and tire size, but why did you decide to maintain the stagger instead of going same width all around? Will a 9.5 inch rim fit in front?

french Z4 looking for CSL.

Hello,

My name is nicolas, i am french and owner of a Z4 2.5L 2004 black with black leather, remapping motor (212 ch) and - 3 spring ressorts (eibach).

I am looking for CSL hyperblack in 18 x 8.5 for my car whith 225/40/18 all around.
I only found "**********s and EAS" as resalers.
Is it the only internet stores who sale this products in américa ?

Thanks a lot for yours answers and excuse me for my poor english...... !!!

Best regards.

Apexstrafer, what size tires? No spacers? They look great without losing the comfort by going to 19"

18" are looking good if they are staggered and have sunken face otherwise they seem little small.

What are your offsets for the Mcoupe?

Where did you purchase your CSL reps?
