I put a newer version in my '07 - pretty much plug n play, but the paddle shifters were a PITA to transfer across. I'd suggest if you can, get one with the correct paddles still in it.
Also, make sure the airbag housing/horn unit is the same size/shape as your existing one if you're planning to transfer it across. I got one with a different fitment, had to send it back to Germany. |

Thats the M Performance steering wheel. It will fit as long as you have the same type of airbag. If you have paddles, you will need to retrofit M3 paddles because that steering wheel was made for the M3.

Yup. Basically not worth swapping on a 10 year old car. Sport pack steering wheel is all you need anyway.
