Michelin Pilot Super Sports, skeptical
I bought a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports from an online vendor. They arrived new and had a good DOT date. But it didn't have the sticky hairs on the tread which usually signify that it's a new tire.
Anyone else had this experience when buying new tires? |

I still have the hairs on my tire. And it's a little past 6 months and 4,000 miles. Oh wait, I'm talking about the sidewalls. I never had hair on the treads.

Google Image that tire, and none of the images show sticky hairs on the TREAD. |

Okay yea on the side wall its there lol! But I guess since my last set were Hankooks they had a few of the hairs and colored markings on the tread. Thank you for the quick responses.

Some manufactures leave those little mold hairs on the tires. Michelin is known to shave the hairs off to give the tire a more "finished" look before shipping them. So, no worries, the PSS would not have those hairs on them.
