E92 still in the shop. Need to Vent

Two weeks ago today I managed to run over a rogue cone on the highway escaping the Hurricane (while on vacation, ain't that a bitch).

When they started taking apart the front end they found some of the support and bracing for the intercooler was damaged.

It's been almost two weeks in the shop and I just want my baby back!

A traffic cone, a damn traffic cone.

Hmmm, any pics of said FMIC support damage? What other than the 2 screw brackets and 2 couplers for the fmic could have been damaged by a road cone? lol sounds kinda crazy..

I believe it was one of the screw brackets. They're replacing the fmic so it definitely took a hit.

Also ripped the screws out holding the bumper to the undertray

Oh i just noticed it's stock fmic.. There's a bunch of plastic in that case, not metal, so I assume it could have cracked or something.. That sucks dude..!

All OE replacement parts though so I can't complain too much. Thank you insurance.

Got some photos from the body shop. Paint looks pretty good in the pics. Even painted the lower grills like I had them before.

We'll see how it good it looks in person.

Should've taken advantage of the opportunity to get upgrade FMIC.

I had originally thought about doing that but winter is coming, so that'll be an early spring thing.

Also thought about doing an M3 or 1M rep bumper but dropped the ball on that.

Yeah a lid from a gatorade cooler kissed my front bumper on the highway and I used the insurance money to go with an m3 front
