Airbag Recall Done, VIN Lookup Still Shows Open

The steering wheel airbag was replaced in my car last week, but when I check my VIN on BMW's website the recall still shows as not completed. Is there a delay in updating this database? I assumed the record was updated in real-time when the paperwork was processed at the dealer.

There is most likely a delay. Give it at least a month before you worry about it. Either way I wouldn't worry about it as long as you have paperwork showing it was done.

I would give the SA a call at the dealer.
