RFT's squeak; and how hard to turn wheels on jacks
Hey all, two unrelated wheel & tire questions:
2008 335xi coupe m/t, rft's. 1. I get this squeaking-rubber noise lately from all tires, most audible at low speed, but it's always there. As if the rubber of the tires would be so uneven, or have a huge flat spot or something, that squeaks with every wheel turn. No rubbing against anything. The tires tread seems to still have life in it. Anyone experienced this? 2. (Unrelated to the above) Just curious, when the car is up on jacks and stick shift in neutral, no hand brake, how hard are the (rear) wheels supposed to turn by hand? Really seems to be harder than it should be here, even if turning that differential along. The brake pads really are stuck on the rotors. Is this normal? Thanks. |
