Start off assistant not working?
I picked up a 2009 328xi with the 6mt last week, and my girlfriend went to pull it out the driveway (I was blocking her in) and realized that the start off assistant / hill holder doesn't work/isn't present on this car.
My 2006 had it, did they get rid of it on the LCI models? I'm not throwing any codes and don't have any lights on. ABS works. The dealer changed the rear brake pads shortly before I bought the car, could that cause an issue? |

I'm assuming she put the clutch and brake in at the same time, that's how you start a manual car. I should have clarified though, I checked it out after she said something to me, and sure enough, the hill holder doesn't work.
