What could it be??
I was driving and I heard a loud backfire, next thing I notice my car isn't accelerating like it used to. The next morning I go to start my car and it hesitates badly as if it is going to shut off so I give it some gas and it runs but again I have hardly any acceleration.
This morning the car shut off immediately after I started it and it is noticeably louder on acceleration. Anyone else had this problem or can tell me what is going on before I take it into the shop? Should I or is it safe to even drive it in this condition? Thanks, I'm still learning about these cars so please don't beat me down.

Well a loud 'pop' and not accelerating sound like your charge pipe blew. Open your hood and check the connection of that pipe to your throttle body

+1 exact thing happened to me as well
Feels like the car has no power Check the rubber hose connection between the charge pipe and the FMIC If it has come off, car will behave exactly as described Easy fix if it is Good luck |

Could be the vacuum line on the throttle body, or either side of the charge pipe has come off.
If not, you have one of three things; 1) bad plug(s) 2) bad coil(s) 3) bad injector(s) Could be a combination of the three above too. |
