LCI seats into pre-lci??
My E91 320d is a 2006 pre-lci and has a set of lemon/cream sports seats in. They are manual seats, but have the electric bolster.
I've just bought a set of LCI seats, but the cloth/alcantara. These too are manual seats, with the electric bolster, but I believe they also have another wire for the headrestraints? Question is, will these be a straight swap, or do I need to be swapping some pins around before putting them in? Will the airbags in the new seats need coding to my car, or will they just work? Here are some pictures of the base of the seats, and the wiring. 2016-10-10_10-27-05 by Phil Cookson, on Flickr 2016-10-10_10-27-21 by Phil Cookson, on Flickr 2016-10-10_10-27-32 by Phil Cookson, on Flickr 2016-10-10_10-27-47 by Phil Cookson, on Flickr 2016-10-10_10-27-55 by Phil Cookson, on Flickr any advice is greatly appreciated |

Should be plug and play, just leave the AHR connector unplugged.
Make sure you disconnect the battery before unplugging your seats or you'll trigger the airbag light that will need to be reset.

Always disconnect the battery with the negative terminal.

Yes, leave the positive connected, and make sure a wrench or something is not dropped onto the negative pole of the battery.

Also, keep the trunk and a door opened. Mine lock automatically sometimes when the power is cut.
