How does the cornering lamp actually work?
You know, when your adaptive xenons are on auto, and you turn, or you put it in R and both light up?
I never gave it any thought, but yesterday, I replaced the H8 on the pass. side because the angel eyes were out. It looks to me that the H8 handles the angel eyes and the cornering lamp. Since angel eyes are always on (for most), and cornering lamps are sometimes on...what gives? |

Gotcha, there were two brown leads going into the H8, but I thought that it had only one filament, like a fog lamp.
Here's an old thread showing both....the H3 is the cornering lamp.....hope that doesn't go out, and is easier to put back than the H8 was.... http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40271 Edit: that thread is so old, folks were figuring out that the cornering lamps did not activate, unless the lights are in auto! I bet most had just gotten their 335 coupes at that point... |
