Rebar interfering with msport rep bumper

Bought this bumper off ebay:

Before I contact the seller and am told something wrong I wanted to reach out here. Anyone had this issue before? The bar pushes the circled sections of the bumper out.

(NOT MY PICTURE - random from google image search)

This caused the headlight area to not fit right and the bumper to be pushed in a bit where it meets the fenders. Anyone dealt with this issue? I really don't wanna have to get someone to cut my reinforcement bar.

I have a 08 e92 335i. Based on the ebay description it should work.

Maybe they sent you an LCI bumper.. Do your kidney grills fit into it?
