raddling sound sometimes e90 330i automatic?
As title says,
here is the video [u2b]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2HOTX_ObE4&feature=youtu.be[/u2b] This happens every 2 or 3 starts. Sometimes in the morning sometimes at night, cold or hot. 330i 2006 138k miles, recently bought. It sound like loud bamm. bamm bamm. as you can hear on the video? Anyone know what this might be and how to fix it? the faster i drive the faster the bamm bamm goes, as if sometime was spinning. Let me know. |

Sounds like the typical HVA tick. You can try the HVA bleeding procedure, but it's just a temporary fix. |

Sounds like HVA lifter tick to me. My car just started doing it yesterday as well, you can check out my thread for a bit of info. Luckily HVA tick is harmless but annoying. In addition to the bleed procedure I would suggest changing the oil.
