Yep, M2 shares the same lines as the M3/4.

Good in stock!

Are these for StopTech calipers? Or will they bolt on to OEM M2 calipers, also?

Why would you want to replace the factory lines with SS?

Better protection from road or track day debris is likely the number one reason I would do it, but others may have different needs.

Reduce cracking of rubber by exposure to crud, also reduce possible flexing/when stomping hard on brakes.

Tracking the car, especially in high heat conditions, will cause the brake fluid to heat and expand, which causes the rubber lines to expand, which mushes up the brakes. And mushy brakes are a no-no anywhere, but especially at the track.

Even though this won't be my primary track car, I've got SS lines ready to install. Cheap insurance.

Yup. Lines, RBF600, and pads should do it.

SRF will be a better value in the long run and no need to flush it out after each track session unless you boil the fluid. A quick bleed at each corner and you are good to go.

SRF cheaper? Local shop carries only the Motul.

I don't flush after every track event, just annually. Only bleed+refill before the event.

Used to love alternating ATE colors till the gov put the kibosh on the blue dye

Huh, MUCH higher wet boiling point. DEFINITELY not cheaper. I might actually give it a shot next year. Motul does lose some of its oomph later in the year.

SRF absorbs much less moisture over time

Has anyone got a video they can share documenting how to do this stainless line swap? Or just take the old one and replace.... then do the bleed. That easy.

Rubber lines still have steel in their construction far as I was aware?

Nvm think I'm thinking of aramid or Kevlar type fibres.

Since this necro-thread was given new life, I'll throw our Spiegler Stainless Steel Brake Lines into the mix. They have some really cool features like the rotatiting fittings, which releases tension on the lines. While our lines aren't the cheapest, they are made with the highest quality components and every set is properly tested and DOT compliant. You can learn more about Spiegler here: https://www.essexparts.com/brake-lines

You can find the specific lines for the M2 and M2 Comp here:

Rear: https://www.essexparts.com/spiegler-...m4-f80-f82-f87
