Winter wheels

Planning my winter wheel setup for the M2. I would like to go for an 18 inch square setup. This would allow tire rotation and a better tire selection. Will that compromise the stability control or abs? The stability control on the M2 is great and I would not want to disable it for the winter.

Do we know from a reliable source that a square setup will work with M2 stability control? Seems to be some different opinions out there.

Hey, we have organized a group buy for a winter package on the M3/4 subforum with apex wheels and several tire choices. The wheels and TPMS on our cars are the same. There are several tire sizes available for the group buy and I think some of those would work for the M2 as well.
We have secured a pretty good discount i believe with the group buy. Here is the link to the thread. I have listed the group buy website in first post and you can see all the selections/options there. If you have any questions regarding fitment, you can reach out directly to the vendor too(their info is listed on the group buy website).

Do you think I can make this work?
235/40 R19 and 285/35 R19

It's a new set which I was going to have on a 991.

The Michelin Pilot Alpin 18x235/40 and 18x255/35 on the Satin Black painted 640M's. They still need a Quartz Coating before mounting.
First impression. More after mounting.

Nice,

I went for the 640m as well but in silver. Michelin pilot PA4. I also have a MG m2. Should be awesome.

I considered buying from tire rack but the selection was very limited. They were not sure an 18 inch square setup would be compatible with traction control. Driving the m2 in sport+ is great. I would hate to ruin it with the wrong size tires. I guess the m2 is such a small volume car that tire rack did not take the time to determine which wheels and tires would work. I spoke to someone named Keith from tire rack by the way perhaps our moderator. Maybe by next year tire rack will get it together.
