After driving the M2 hard on a mountain pass...

After driving the M2 hard on a mountain pass...

After we slowed down pushing the M2 to the max, the result was as shown below in the photo! We were totally stunned seeing these kind of figures. The temp went up mainly because of the heat in the brakes that transferred into the tires rapidly.

For the record, my normal tire pressure is 2.4 bar all around, and the temp hardly comes over 53 degrees if we push it relatively hard.

Wow - that's a cool feature - did the car have any warnings or anything?

Someone was enjoying themselves.

No warnings whatsoever. The car is fine... I had a bit of squeeking in the steering at standstill and the mirror folding system, and there are some little rattles here and there, but next service I will give the dealer a hard time fixing it all.

Come on Marc, the rears need to be 80 and the fronts 60 Celsius

Nice feature, thanks for sharing. Didn't know we had this.

Did you also find a hidden coffeemaker in the glovebox?

Cheers

tire pressure read out is really nice to be able to see/track.

Regarding temperature, temperature of WHAT exactly? Is that the temp of the air in the tire? What do you do with that? Hard to imagine a way to get/estimate actual Tire tread temperature -now that would be a REALLY cool feature!
