Interior Carbon Fiber Wrapping
So after much thought and deliberation, I was encouraged to give this a go by teaston. Before potentially shelling out for someone to do it for me OR to pay for a carbon hydro-dipping service I wanted to give this a go myself and I am glad I did.
Better photos are now updated to this first post, enjoy! p.s. Any questions feel free to ask. What I used: http://goo.gl/fbCunh Teaston's recommendation: http://goo.gl/KxW2ds Last edited by CazuaLLUK; 09-14-2016 at 10:44 AM.. |

I thought those were cigarette buts in your ashtray and wondered why is the guy worrying about his interior when it stinks of smoke and is covered in ash.
I then realised they were screwdrivers |

nice job, the only thing i have to say, nothing lasts forever and wrapping might be even shorter. I had my E46 wrapped (professionally as i am crap) and after 10 months or so i see the wrap starting to slowly bubble up in areas where there is especially a pressure contact (i.e weight has being applied). I also was always worried touching it too hard or scratching it easily.
Shady's Carbon did mine and used quality 3M film. Good luck |

Worth a go though for the sake of £10 of wrap and some spare time. |

Still deciding whether to just wrap the silver and leave the blue trim, or to wrap over the blue trim. I think the carbon with blue trim could look nice and unique. |

Itll be interesting to see the result of your dash. I opted to buy (I think its a base level F30?) dash trim from EBay that didnt have the separate trim finisher and did the whole lot. I did a spare one that had a gloss black trim finisher and it was a pain in the arse to get a perfect cut along the line (didnt go as far as dismantling the plastic rivets and separating but may do seeing how its spare). Post pics when youve done!

Looks like a neat job (so far), I would leave the trim showing
