No Dashboard

Jumped in the car today and although it starts it doesn't do a lot else.

I've got no dashboard at all, no radio or connected drive, can't even call breakdown.
Center screen is on and will show menu but that's it.
I've got a BMW technician coming in a couple of hours but as they couldn't check anything remotely, he's coming in blind so to speak.
Just wanted to ask if anyone else has had this and maybe what the outcome was.

Someone has obviously stolen it, I would phone the police.

Just been called by dealer and they've said instrument cluster (not dashboard as I incorrectly called it ) has failed and will need changing.
Currently being sent from Germany so hopefully back in by the weekend.
Lets hope I don't end up with any rattles

an easy fix and not major surgery so hopefully you will be rattle free

I had this changed recently because the plastic glass was cracked. I enquired on the price out of interest...£880.00 plus labour...expensive piece of kit

For this price I can buy 2x F8x instrument clusters.

I had this on mine! Intermittent so took a bit of time to get it seen by the technician!!

Once detetected, and a short wait for the part to come from Germany, all sorted and no rattles!!

Hope yours works out the same!!
