Not enough traction with JB4

In 1st / 2nd gear I get a lot of wheel spin. I'm using Michelin PSS, map 5 JB4 (about 14 psi boost). What do you recommend limiting the boost to? What else can I do to gain traction (as I'm not running anywhere close to the whp that others on this forum run)?

Thanks!

What temps? I hook pretty good on MPSS. Stock run flats, different story. I'm DCT though.

There must be something wrong in the rear to lose traction especially with good tyres.

Check your tyre pressure if its up near 40 maybe drop it to 36 or 34.

Have you got LSD?

You shouldnt have to worry about losing grip till you have upgraded turbos and inlets on e85 mixes

True. I am on 20+ psi with stock turbos and MPSS does just fine on 2nd gear. 1st is always problem we all know that..

Wheel alignment! Factory toe spec with -1 degree camber is a good place to start.

I can see if lower tire pressure helps. Might also try the suggestion on wheel alignment. What is your wheel alignment?

I don't have LSD. Is that something you have?

What size tires? MPSS isn't that great for straight-line grip, especially if you peg-leg

Have you experimented with lower pressure in the rear tires?

Pressures are high. Should be 32-33ish. Back that hard lowers traction. The pressures should be what's on your door sill regardless of switching sizes or types of tires.

By the way I had a chance to ride my friends 1000HP supra and I told him try to spin the tires at 70+mph he looked at me and said huh?
