30BE - Injector Calibration, plausibility

I've been getting this code for a little while now and I'm not really sure where to start (other than probably the injectors?)

Some symptoms I have been getting recently is when I cold start the car it stumbles then starts instead up the usual "VROOM" up to 1300ish RPMs. Sometimes I'll get what feels like a bad misfire as well which leads me to believe there's something up with the injectors.

I've read the DIY on coding injectors and it seems pretty simple however as far as I know the injectors have never been replaced? Should I pull them out and just jot down the numbers to verify myself they are coded correctly or just replace them? And even then I'm assuming I'd have to replace them all because this code is not telling me which injector the problem is in.. :/

A plus side of replacing all injectors though would be no more tick I guess

no need to remove them. just take the engine cover off and the numbers are clearly visible. if you've got inpa it'll show the existing coded values if they dont line up then there is your issue if they do then coding isn't the problem.

Probably take you 20-30mins all up to check and verify coding as well as clean up.

forgot to mention INPA rounds the values so they could be slightly different (but very close) if you put in the value you have on the injector and it rounds it to what it was before then it was coded correctly to begin with.

Check the coding in INPA. If it's all correct then you might have a bad/leaking injector. You can pull them out one by one and see if the tip is excessively black and sooty.

hate to bring up an old thread, but this is happening to me right now. only difference is i just replaced all six of my injectors prior to getting this code. it ran fine for a few days and then the codes started coming in. I am going to double check inpa to make sure i didn't make a typo, but i think it is good. Although i do remember a few of them getting a red exclamation point in inpa when i typed them in. Any ideas?

Did you work out what was causing the error or how to fix it? I’m getting the same error after replacing all my injectors with remanufactured ones. They sent a replacement set and same issue. We thought it was due to the high flow rates.

I'm guessing some other people got bad injectors like you did. I'm wondering if this "refurbishing" process involves removing the numbers off a used index 9 injector and printing index 12 on it along with some randomized calibration digits. Do your injectors have a 2 letter code dot-engraved in the metal just above the index number. Real index 12s have a BO or BD engraved on them signifying internal improvements.
