335i intercooler sits to low? Radiator support possibly?

My intercooler has maybe a 1inch gap between it and the radiator and it sits way to low. This is the second intercooler I've installed with the same problem. Its like my radiator support etc is too low. I can easily push the whole radiator etc up higher into the engine bay with ease is there something that normally holds this up that my car might be missing? Bought the car with 50k miles from a bmw dealer 2 years ago.

After looking at a ton of intercooler installs it looks like my car is missing a clip right next to the intercooler mount. Is this what holds up the intercooler mount because it goes up and down?

Its the on3 performance one. I can put push it up like maybe 3 inches from under the car with my hand. The radiator and intercooler mounts etc... move up also. I won't be able to get pics tommorow, but only 3 rows of the intercooler are exposed was about the same with the stock one also.

If your radiator is also moving up 3 inches by hand you've got bigger issues.

Garage List
Sounds like you have an issue with the intercooler.

By hand i mean I can get under the car and push it all up. I thought there were some clips by the intercooler that kept the radiator etcc.. In place. I'll post some pics tmrw.
