Back end flash prior to e85?

I've been reading up on adding e85 to my 335 but haven't found a clear answer.
I've got JB4 G5, catless dp and BMS DCI. I just got my hands on some E99 and I want to try to run a e30 mix. My lpfp seems to be running strong in my logs but the question is, do I need a back end flash before I run a E30 mix on map 5?

dont need the BEF for e30

Do need it for about e40 +
