Rear Under tray

Put my car into a National Towbar fitting chain last week to get my westfalia towbar fitted and it came back with out the Plastic under tray.

Phoned them up and they said it didn't have one.

Now i find that hard to believe but my car was nearly new.

I am phoning the dealers today to see if i can get conformation from them that it was fitted before i start harassing the fitters.

Anyone ever got their cars without one?

And is the f31 tray the same as the F30 tray?

How do you mean rear under tray? Where the exhaust back box is, their isn't one so the exhaust gets cooled.

Yep the 318d had a tray and the Towbar fitter then cut the tray to accommodate the towbar.
I assumed they all had the tray to extend the life of the underside of the car. seems a decent idea put in a sheet of plastic to prevent spray getting into areas where it can rust. Even though it wont be 100% perfect it would be enough to get the car past its anti corrosion warranty period.

Or am i over thinking things again

petrols don't I think either, the m performance back box is massive and the temperature of the sun so I think a petrol back box would melt a plastic undertray

Garage List
Think it might only be on non m sport cars perhaps??

My 320 d sportline had one

However a 320d m sport loaner didn't as does my 335xd m sport

Maybe due to the different bumper
