Poor mans brake upgrade

Had some spare time today so gave sprucing up the brakes a go, missus won't let me get some m blues (yet) so this is the best I could muster...

Took the pads out, gave it all a good clean then 4 coats of high temp black matt, installed a new BMW spring to bling it up.

Gave the rusty disc top hat a quick blast so it matches the black H&R spacer, looks likes this with the wheel back on...

8 year old daughter loved it so must be good

I was the same, but as of midweek I will have blue brakes installed.

Next time I get a BMW I will be making sure I get a car with the M Sport + pack lol!

I have the old style clips but these look waay better. How much were they - from main dealer?

What colour is the caliper painted in? I know you've said four coats of Matt black , but it looks metallic gloss grey?

Tin said matt black and it did start off very very matt but the more coats I put on the glossier it got, it actually turned out better than I expected.
