Retrofitting electric seats?

Just purchased a 335d touring, from looking at a few different cars, and it ticked all the boxes except electric memory seats.

As my wife drives the car, one of my pet hates is having to adjust the seat.

Anyone know if the front electric seats from a F80 M3 would fit?

thanks

They'd fit but for the adjustment to work you'd need a new wiring loom and control module, lots of coding etc., it would be a pretty major job!

There was a guy - think it was Dutch forum who did exactly that.

Also if I recall right quarry breakers were selling a used M3 interior and offered a full fitting service.

Expensive mod though. Might be cheaper to grit your teeth and just move the seat back and forth two clicks. Just impress on her the need not to adjust the angle ,height etc of the seat.

It could be done, if you get seats with control modules. Fitting, wiring, flashing and coding can manage if you not too far from Southampton.

Couple of things though, did you fit the M Sport brakes from a 320d? They look smaller than the 330d ones.

And why oh why have you put the M colours on your grille?! :

The brake kit was original BMW M135, I changed the discs in the back because of 6 different cylinders.

yes the screen is 10.2.

I put the colors M because I find it very beautiful

Looking at doing a electronic memory seats retrofit. Just purchased seats from 435i, only has a white box on the driver side. Can some please help me? Also i would like to know if its possible to get the electic function and memory function both working... Thanks

I think it depends on whether you've got electric folding mirrors - if you have you'll already have the linbus wiring. Anything can be retrofitted but it may not be that straightforward

If you have ISTA all the wiring diagrams are there so you can study these and work out what you're likely to need
