START DATE 31/08/2016 So i picked it up yesterday. Really happy with the look UPDATE 02/10/2016 My mate Shaun fitted the 8.8” screen and then a drive to Teaston to get it coded in plus some other bits coded also. Stuff coded 5 blinker on tap instead of 3 Wing mirrors fold on lock Stereo switches off on door open Sports display actually worked M sport splash logo (although I hear there is one on the instrument cluster Teaston for us to do) Tyre temp on display Door handle lights on reverse And obviously the screen from 6.5 to 8.8 Here are some pictures The black lines are lcd flicker on camera. I'll get better pictures Sports display UPDATE 09/10/2016 so I was home from work ill with money burning a hole in my pocket. decided id do the LCI Stereo facia swap I ordered the parts £56 from BMW and made the cable. didnt take long about 20 mins to make before picture after picture after picture night Made the interior look much better. UPDATE 07/11/2016 So i ordered these canards from the United States from one of our colleagues vvroom . noticed someone else on here was looking for a set so did a deal and got both sets shipped over and have now been fitted. here they are on my car UPDATE 09/02/2017 fitted a Rear ARB, M4 chassie brace and new pads also fitted this recently as well running on setting D9 or E9. really improved the car. review thread was also setup http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1351829 UPDATE 31/03/2017 so new update. decided i wanted to try tinting the rear lights here is the inner done and out std here is 1 side done here is all done including reflectors also had left overs so did this as well pre post I actually like the look but might get someone professional to do them for me properly as I have a few bubbles. Once I debadge I think it will look loads better. UPDATE 11/04/2017 had some new wheels fitted Veemann V-FS23 in gloss gun metal 20x8.5 et35 - 235 35 20 20x10 et42 - 275 30 20 no rubbing but it is close. UPDATE 13/05/2017 had the car on a rolling road. Setting D7 on the Bluespark box made good power . repeatable as Tony did the same on his 435d with D7 setting. Bluespark is well worth the money Last edited by Smee; 06-01-2017 at 03:50 AM.. |

Cheers I'm please. Just need some new wheels and to stop scrapping the splitter now lowered lol
Also a map but not sure what route to go. I like the idea of bluespark plus boost but nothing proven with it |

I would say, looking good but can hardly make it out. Modern phones have more than 480x360 resolution cameras, when did you last upgrade yours?
H&R springs? Are you sure about that? Seem nothing but bad news by many. |

Does the quality get better when you click on them it's meant to be a thumb nail??? Plus I work for vodafone so upgrade a lot lol
Hr springs definitely. What's wrong with hr? Had them on most of my previous cars put the eibach I had on my Leon to shame :s Edited : checked and they should be 1024x768 but they should be showing as url thumb nails. It shows great on phone but not so on a pc I guess Last edited by Smee; 08-31-2016 at 01:45 PM.. |

Ooooo I like the drop on that , H&R are fine and probably what I would go for If I were keeping my car , also you do know that the underside of your splitter is going to get destroyed ??

That is looking very nice indeed mate. Let me know how you get on with issues of your splitter getting snagged if you wouldnt mind please?
I've got approx 9 1/2 hours until I pick up my new 435 (with same splitter). I'm on the verge of deciding whether to book mine in to get lowered with H&Rs (but actually have to see what its like OEM first). I'm putting a set of 15 spoke dark gunmetal/Anthracite 19s on as soon as I pick it up from dealer tomorrow so hopefully that may mask the slightly higher looking ride height of the XDrive (Sapphire black). Let me know what you think about the ride quality too please. Seeing the more aggressive stance lowered and with spacers of your machine certainly whets my appetite! PS I may be looking at a remap etc too so I'll be following your lead and progress with interest |

The ride is nice not as bad as I thought I think the harshness is in the run flat tyres now.
The lowering springs are the smaller drop ones and having met someone the other day with a bigger drop he's splitter is proper scuffed. I think the 435d comes with 19s standard but looking at the store size difference from oem to 20s staggered the difference in wheel diameter is 10mm so should raise my car by 5mm which I think would be perfect it's only scuffed twice and the drive I was trying to get up is known to be a pain |

Brilliant, thanks Smee.
Yep, I guess the RFTs will always be the weakest link. My current E92 has them and despite them doing their job (three times for me), they do tend to compromise ride and handling. Let me know what wheels you go for (19s or 20s). I've been lusting after Harlequins build and sort of pre modded mine to what his looks like. Just need to see what it will actually look like after I've visited Project X and had my new wheels fitted tomorrow afternoon. Again, your car looks the dogs mate! |

That does look lovely. Lowered and with spacers the stance looks beautiful!
Not sure if I'd go with the black grilles though. On the 4 Series I feel the chrome works a bit better as it blends into the lights better? Hadn't seen them on a white car with the M Performance kit and I would've said they'd work if the car had the whole kit but after seeing yours I think I'd still go standard chrome grilles. Hmmmm. |

i have the chromes at home and to me it didnt work with the chrome but what i had thought is getting them sprayed white to match the car to see how they would look then
i do like the black makes the car look mean especially as i want the car to end up like this Last edited by Smee; 09-01-2016 at 04:59 AM.. |
