Displaying clock when using satnav

Is it possible to display the clock somewhere whilst using nav ?

I know I can turn off the nav instructions in the area above the odometer displays using the button on the end of the stalk but what I really want is the clock displayed somewhere whilst keeping the nav instructions.

The right hand pane of the display displays the arrival time and how long to go.

I know it's not that important but if anyone can point me to how to do it please do

I think I know how to do it but it's quite complicated to explain. There's a function to have a "clear" map or a map with extra info such as the time displayed and the scale. I seem to remember pushing the iDrive knob in the down position toggles between the two options.

Have you read the manual?

That's how mine works, simple press of the iDrive controller while map is displayed on the screen.

Think you can also use split screen and display clock widget.

No need. When in full screen, just push the iDrive wheel down and 'check box' info. Job done.

And whats a time thread without a BMW joke....

Q: What's the difference between a broken watch and a BMW time display?

A: A broken watch is at least correct twice a day.
