I know it's not going to be everyone here's cup of tea, but I was tinting my rear lights bank holiday Monday. Late start so only the inners ended up being tinted



Doesn't look as bad as I thought it would but definitely going to be finishing the job this weekend!

Also the ******** spoiler I bought off ajfoggy has finally been installed with tape bought from M40CCA

Black grilles have also gone on!


And finally a glamour shot, putting my friends vapes to good use since the only other thing they seem to be good for is making you look like a bellend

It's from ******** in the US, ajfoggy had it on his f32 prior to selling it on. A couple defects in the clearcoat (as he mentioned) but I'm happy with it overall

Yeah I think without the tints it's kind of too uniform if you know what I mean, the red lamps kind of just blend into the red bodywork.

I was considering tinting the reflectors at the bottom too but as they blend in so well it's almost like they're not there, and tinting them will just draw attention to them

and I know the driveway needs to be cleaned and weeded, the hot weather's just made me lazy haha

What are using to tint your lights? I've wanted to put a very slight tint on my lights for a while but it HAS to look OEM. I've seen someone using Lamin-x on here with good results.

Just some light smoke tint from ebay.

Probably going to re-do the inner lights too next weekend as we made a few mistakes applying it.

Yeah I just looked. Hardly any 4 series ones and they are all so expensive compared to the F30/1 ones!

I did find some from rieger tuning


Only carbon look and not real carbon, but it's €254 as opposed to £350+ for the OEM one


Not sure which I prefer either.
