Bad Ending to a good day - rubbed my car to the curb

So while going to dinner this evening, I was trying to get into a cramped parking garage and my car rubbed against the curb on the right hand side. Luckily there is no visible damage to the exterior. The underside below the rear right door has got some scratches.

The only thing worrying me in this black piece that broke from the undercarriage near the rear door. I looked on the other side as well and the same part is attached under the skirt. Does anyone know what this part could be by looking at the pictures? I just want to make sure it isn't anything major that has come off. To me it just looks like a ordinary piece of plastic, but then why would it be even there if it wasn't of any use?

I have attached the pictures. Can anyone tell me how I can make them show up along with this message?

Thanks!

That looks like the part under the car where the car jack is supposed to go when you have to jack up the car.

You lost a jack point. Take it to the dealer to have replaced.

Yup. Jackpoint covers. Nothing too serious, just have them replaced when you're at the dealership next.

Thanks for the response guys :rocks:

That had me worried for a second. I'll have it replaced next time I'm at the dealership.
