Ordered 330 today!

Hey Guys...

Well I finally made the plunge and ordered my 330 ! I ordered this from FAIRFAX BMW...see Kyle...he'll hook you up..they were very helpful and friendly...

Here's how I configured it..

330
Sparkling Graphite
Black Leatherette
Bur Wood
PDC
Heated Seats
Sport Pack
Comfort Access
Nav-iDrive
BMW Bluetooth Assist

MSRP was $44,625, paid $41,300...monthly is $467 for a two year lease....

Now I need to sell my E34 (in my Sig) and begin the long wait..I am told 6-8 weeks...I will place the E34 in "for sale" and E34 sections....PM if interested..

Let's see how long it takes...:eeps:

You Too!

I thought it was you....your black E34 was SYCK! Did you end up selling it or trading it in? I really wanted the 5 but when I saw the new 3 I actually liked it more....the 5 was kinda big and I dont have any kids yet..this will probably be my wifes car in a few years...maybe then I will look at it...although I may look at muscle car...

Cheers

i miss the e34, but thought it was time to move on. i was considering getting a new car maybe at the end of '06 or in '07, but then my tranny went out on the e34 in dec '05. pretty expensive job, and i felt i got a really good run out the e34, so i decided that was the time to make the change. went to the dealer after xmas, and worked with an awesome sales guy that found the exact car i wanted on one of the boats. picked it up jan 7, and have been having fun ever since. sold the e34 to a really good home. he's a local guy, and i know he'll take good care of it.

Nice pics of the 3 - cant wait to steal some of your ideas

i think you're really going to like the e90. it's such a great car imho.

hahaha, i don't think i'm going to go crazy modding this car. probably just some subtle things. got a pair of blackline tails on the way. in the future it'd like it to be a little lower.

Based on my experience and your location, you will be driving it home April 8th.

Good job. $467 seems like a great payment. Looks like you did your homework. Plus in 24 months, roll right into a 335!

Sounds like a great price. Could you share the details on your lease (i.e. money down/cap reduction, miles/per yr, etc)?

I got .0024MF
No cap reduction..
10000 miles per year
24 month lease
77% Residual
Total Down $2986 which includes
$1344 tax
$825 Acq fee (I know I could argued this but I got $4200 of MSRP)
$279 Processing Fee
$71 tags
$467 First Payment

The only catch is I had to put down 6 security deposits...I have no credit here as I am new to the US...they will return it to me at the end of lease...But I wanted to get into the 330 pretty badly so I agreed..I may purchase the car at the end of lease anyway so I will just apply then...

See Kyle at FairFax BMW if you want a good deal if you live in VA..

Though I haven't actually done it myself, I have heard that multiple security deposits allow for a lower money factor with leases. This will ultimately lower your payment and you still get the money back at lease-end.

It sounds like you got a very good deal (as long as you don't go over the milage). I guess BMW has increased the price on the E90 since I ordered my car. The MSRP for my car is almost the same as yours, but I also have the premium package (but no comfort access - it wasn't available at the time). But in the end, you got a much better discount (at that time $1500 off was considered a great deal).

Congratulations.

This is what i just ordered at BMW sterling:

330i, 6MT
sparkling graphite
sport
premium
nav
comfort
sat prep
cold weather

$750 over invoice (which incl MACO) plus $625 acq fee. 3.17% taxes + 300 doc fee + 85 gov't fee.

36mo/10k lease with 0.00195 and 65% residual. $0 down for cap cost reduction.

Very happy with the process, just sent email to David Lee, the sales manager, got him to accept my terms over email. When I came in, he explained my numbers were missing MACO, I'm ok with that, and was VERY up front about everything else and making sure i saw where every number came from. I was in and out, start to finish, in an hour. Internet is the way to go!

Do a lot of people drive only 10k miles per year? I've been driving for 16 years and rarely get less than 13-15k. Aren't the mileage penalties for leases pretty stiff?

I work from home two days a week as well and my office is only 8 miles from the house so 10K is fine....I also may buy the car anyway afterwards...

I turned in my leased VW Jetta 2 years ago with only 26k miles (the original lease terms were 3 yrs/45k miles). I would have had even fewer miles but I had driven 2 roundtrips from Boston to Atlanta and at least 10 trips from Boston to NYC.

Now that I have the E90, I am glad that I purchased this one. I have had my car for just over 6 months, and I just reached 8k miles. Whats even more amazing about that is that I hardly ever drive my car to work. But on the weekends, I always seem to take the scenic route to wherever I am going
