Hi All

Hope someone can help me please.
Hopefully fitting my new Thinkware F770 tomorrow & was thinking about where everyone has fitted their front camera unit.
I have looked today & I was thinking to the right of the rear view mirror just under the sun strip.
Is this where everyone else has had theirs fitted or is it on the left of the mirror?
A few photos would be great

So I've got pics of my old F500 in my old 435i, but I've got the F770 in exactly the same position in my 340i

Not got the think aware one but my camera is to the left behind the mirror. There is a sensor on the right hand side, I think for the mirror dimming.

I was thinking of putting the f770 on the opposite side of the mirror to get a more centre line view down the bonnet.
Also concerned about the law & sticking thinks to your windscreen?

The F770 is smaller and even more discrete. It has zero impact on your field of vision as its hidden next to the mirror on the passenger side.

I personally wouldn't have it on the drivers side as it probably would impact your line of sight vision. I also believe it's s bit more difficult routing the wiring around the mirror as it needs to connect to the battery via the glove box.

I wouldn't worry too much about the centre line, the camera is pretty much central anyway and picks up everything in view.

i place my camera on the passager side behind the mirror due to the fish eye lease it cover everything i would see without being distracting to the driver.
