Northern Ireland guys!! NI-BMW show tomorrow
Guys, sorry for the short notice but it's not been mentioned on here
NI-BMW's annual show is on tomorrow in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland. www.ni-BMW.co.uk This is always a fantastic show with a huge turn out from bmws of all ages from all over the UK & Ireland. I will be there showing my F30, so if you're going and you see the car come over and say hello! Aaron. |

Thanks. Why do they have the show on the same day as one of the largest Mini shows in NI which is on in Portrush. Will go and see the Minis as it closer and always a great show.

Yes always worth a look. Will probably take a run over for a look around and a chance to chat to people. Better class of spectator at the BMW show as the Mini show is attracting Audi drivers. Lol.

Who are these Audi drivers visiting the mini show?? Would love a classic Mini for sure, some of those there today looked great.

It was a cracking day for the North coast Davy. A good turn out from the Minis as always I assume? An early BMW Mini Cooper S would be a fun car. The more recent ones have got too bloated. I don't think I could go back to something as old and basic. Even looking at some of the old stuff I owned or wanted - they are so dated. Nice to look at but disappointing to drive. In fairness the classic mini has the driving fun factor. A great car to learn to drive in.

I had an early BMW Mini Cooper S with the supercharged engine but tired of it pretty quickly. Odd whine noise and not that quick. The same body shape but with the 1.6 Turbo from 2007 on is a much better drive but too tight in the back seat to be of any real use once you have a family.
Some beautiful last models of the classic Minis at the show yesterday, I need one of those tucked away in my new garage soon. |

We were out for dinner in Bushmills on Saturday night and the whole place came to a standstill as the minis went through. Impressive to watch them all going through the town honking as they went.

Never realised BMW built a Focus lookalike - seem to be quite a few at that show. Also in the other albums there is one called Supercars and Coffee - plenty of Corsas and Fiestas in that, maybe they are Super to the owners!

Also the supercars and coffee meet came under fire on a local NI car forum for the exact same reason you have said there, saying the name was misleading. The meet was for charity though. |
