340i MPPK Kit for £2195

Hi, bit of a dilemma! I have a F31 340i at status 5055 and due week 38 delivery and the dealer has offered me the full MPPK rrp £2950 fitted for £2195 fitted.

TBH I was thinking about having it installed in and few years when I get the new car bug, but it seems and good deal.

Does anyone have it and is it worth it?

I have been looking at this myself and that does seem a good price. My dealer has the kit available for £1900 but that is without fitting. I'm due to pick mine up on the 01/09 so will see what sort of deal he will do.

Whether or not it's worth it is down to your preferences, but it sounds good to me.

Would be worthwhile asking. Further discount and imagine there will be a number of takers (me included).

Not that anyone hasn't seen or heard the MPPK on you tube, but here is the video the dealer sent...

Some clips make it sound ok and others not so. So annoying you cant just get the remap on its own.

Why is it twice the price of the 330d ppk?

If that's the full pack, I'd do a group buy

You have to buy the full exhaust and remap for a 340 which is a pain.

Just had an email from Phil at Cotswold...

My best price would be £2550 for the Chrome Tips or £2750 for the carbon tips

This is a fully fitted including vat price

Has anyone asked whether MPPK is compatible with a tow bar (fully electric in my case)?

How does it cope with distance cruising? The standard exhaust on comfort mode seems well acoustically judged to my ears. Louder could become a wearing drone.

Would you mind sharing your dealer and contact - perhaps we could organise a group buy at that price?

Still waiting for Tony to reply.

Who is the dealer offering this? Have we clarified if fitting is included? And all component parts of the MPPK are in at that price?

Here is the email......dealer said we may be able to trim the price for more than 3 orders..
Hi Joe,

The kit normally retails for £2,985, but we have a special offer currently running for £2,195, including fitting and VAT.

The kit includes a power boost of 34hp to bring the car to 360HP, reducing the 0-62 time by 0.2 seconds, and increasing the torque significantly from 450Nm to 500Nm. It also includes the silencer system, with either chrome or carbon tips.

Kind regards,

Hmmm.

Wrong end of the country for me, but otherwise tempting. Would it be the same kit/quote for an F36?

The carbon tips are normally extra as well, so if these are included then it appears to be a great deal.
