Anyone bought the MPPK for 340i yet?

Im still agonising over adding this to my F31. Has anyone made the upgrade yet or considering it?

I originally ruled it out at Â£3k and I haven't heard the exhaust note in the flesh - only on YouTube videos. But, I just can't shake off the 'what if's' especially as Direct Line won't insure me with an ACS upgrade.

Any thoughts?

Its a ridiculous price imo.

Vines BMW Crawley, W.Sussex have a new 340i estate with one of these fitted.

One of the managers is using the car at the moment before it goes on sale x demo.

I've yet to hear it but the sales guy was raving about how good it is.

I'm going to pop in for a listen but certainly won't be adding it to my new car at that price.

Indeed. I paid £950 trough TRL for the M235i

Excuse my ignorance but what do you get for your £3k? For that kind of money I'd expect a remap, performance exhaust and probably a LSD - if it's for an exhaust only it really is silly money!

In that case £3k sounds an awful lot but the £950 paid by Creepy Coupe sounds quite reasonable!

I believe the £950 was for the M235i MPPK. What does this constitute?

Correct, this Â£3k + fitting was for MPPK and ECU upgrade. I'll ping a few mails out to dealers today and get a feel for the price.

Out of curiosity, is it a complete exhaust system or just rear half/cat back and is it a replacement ecu or bmw's remap?

Edit: thought these also included upgraded intercoolers and m performance engine rocker cover?

ohh dont! I would have to hear one but by the sounds of it comfort mode is still ok for family runs and then it gets very fruity in sport. Extra power would be good though.

The MPPSK is full cat back stainless exhaust with dual valves and a remap. You get a couple of stickers for the engine bay too, and a new type approval no etc, but that's the brunt of it.

MPPSK with chrome tips = £2829
MPPSK with carbon tips = £3064
Labour to fit = £156

Good point, I don't know if that included tips or not. I'd assume it did as you're not able to order the kit without tips (apparently).
