I used to have a HTC M8, M9 and now a M10 .

I got he M10 through default as EE wanted my M9 as I was having problems with software and they wanted to look at it for diagnostics as I had 3 replacements.

Now the phone as gone abroad after 6 weeks in wales test centre, they have told me its unlikely I will see it again as they have found the problem with WIFI calling but its not resolved.

So they said they would send me a brand new M9 and try again, to my surprise they sent me a new M10 and I thought great as I only have 2 months left on my contract at work.

With the M8 and M9 I got full integration with I drive office with e-mails and dragon dictation which is great. However the HTC 10 refuses to sync the e-mails (texts only) even through MAP is requested.

Anyone else using a HTC10 and got mails to work ?

You may struggle with this one as due to the slimming down of HTC Sense a lot of components were removed. There was a rumor floating around that GMAIL client will be enhanced at some point to support this.

I thought as much, looks like I am going to have to find a 2nd hand M9 to use and bin the HTC10 until it is fixed... probably never !

The HTC doesn't need fixing ... it's a feature of the slimming down of the skin used by HTC. Google is a bit fed up with some of them. It's not a failing of the phone. You may be able to find another mail app in the Play Store that works with it. I don't use the Email function of the phone in the car as I've set up the email section of Office and that works well enough for me.

Oh that's interesting so its more likely to be the mail app... Mmmm I will try a few and see what happens

I tried to use the on board BMW mail and got it configured fine for exchange, however it only shows the subject line and the body is blank .... I dont think we will never get seamless technology due to someone always wanting to change direction .... bit like the old betamax and VHS
