Just purchased the K+DCAN cable and OTG. I don't own any android devices currently and was wondering what you MHD users would recommend for a cheap android device?

I started with a Dragon Touch Y88X Plus on Amazon for $40 but the screen is terrible and ended up buying a used Asus Nexus 7 on ebay for $90.

You can get phones and tablets pretty cheap on Craigslist. Just google otg compatibility.

I picked up a RCA tablet from walmart for around 30 bucks. I only use it for MHD, been working fine for about a year now.

I looked at that but couldn't find any info off Google if it was OTG or not. That was the most frustrating part was finding if the "cheap" devises were actually OTG capable or not. I ended up with a tablet a local guy sells in town for $35 out the door and comes with a OTG cable so I knew it was good to go. I can get you the name if you need OP. Nice screen, very fast.

Actually, you want to look for "USB Host," which is the techniclicacal nomenclature. GSM Arena is probably the best place -- if a device you search for there has OTG capability, it will say "USB Host" next to the USB entry under Comms. Unfortunately, some of the cheap Chinese trash tablets the big box retailers carry aren't listed.
